To inspire lifelong learning is a goal of every educator, including those at the SWI. Stone walls provide a wonderful opportunity to engage geology, culture, and biology.

PUBLIC LECTURES

Professor Thorson is winding down on speaking events for stone walls in preparation for the release of his upcoming book on a different signature landform, kettle lakes and ponds. He will no longer maintain an event Event Calendar, though you might be curious to examine the venues he has spoken for in the recent past. If so, go to Previous Programs.

STONE WALL WORKSHOPS

The SWI is in the process of developing workshops and guided field trips of stone walls. If and when this happens, we will put it in the news section.
